Family Tradition

Descended from the legendary Jedi Nomi Sunrider, Vima-Da-Boda was trained by Bil-Kit Jinn as his Padawan Apprentice until she successfully completed her Trials at the age of 23.  She became powerful with the Force and was sent on long and dangerous missions by the Council.  During a long assignment out in the Hutt Empire, Vima gave birth to her daughter, Neema, and began training her in the ways of the Force.

Now in her mid-sixties, Vima is petite, with greying light-brown hair and a careworn but pretty face.  She has grey eyes.  Sarolyn sees Vima as an aunt figure, and Vima is as determined as Bil-Kit that Sarolyn fulfils her destiny as a Jedi Knight.

Vima's future

The ancient Vima made an appearance in Dark Empire, where she was found by Han Solo and Princess Leia in the depths of the smugglers' moon, Nar Shaddaa.  It is known that she had lost her powers due to events surrounding her daughter's death and she had succumbed to despair where she lived as a vagrant, managing to escape the Clone Wars that had wiped out most of the remaining Jedi.  These events will be revealed in Volumes II and III and will be a substantial part of the story.
