At just over 800 years of age, Yoda is one of the wisest and most powerful Jedi Masters in the Order. Small in stature but not in influence, Yoda's skill with the lightsabre is unmatched. Having quietly explored much of the galaxy during his early Knighthood, Yoda has a deep understanding of the many different cultures throughout the Republic. Yoda trained Bil-Kit Jinn as his Padawan learner and thus shows a keen interest in Sarolyn's own training.
The Trandoshan Master Dessk has shunned his species' warlike traditions and prefers a peaceful solution to conflict. However, Dessk is capable of dramatic action where necessary, and is almost as skilled with the lightsabre as Yoda. Dessk once adopted an orphaned albino Wookiee named Chastacyrrhi and took him as his Padawan learner. Now a full Jedi Knight, Chastacyrrhi is loyal and totally devoted to Dessk, and the pair of them have been nicknamed "The Double Act".
Parlio Venstromence sits alongside Yoda and Dessk as one the the senior Masters on the Council. Parlio is renowned throughout the galaxy as a scholar of ancient music and has built up an extensive library within the Jedi Temple. Venstromence has rediscovered and reconstructed the arts of many species and cultures, arts once considered to have been lost forever.
Parlio Venstromence is a strong adherent to the doctrines of the Living Force. He believes that one's outward appearance is irrelevent, and that peace and unity with the Force lies with the inner soul.
A stern and stately Bothan lady, Jedi Master Soo-Kut Laa has a reputation for being strict with her Padawan, Merridyth Weela. Soo-Kut Laa believes that nothing is ever perfect and that there is always room for improvement. Soo-Kut is a contemporary of Parlio Venstromence and both share an interest in art and music, an interest that is passed on to their Padawans.
A Chevin from the planet Vinsoth, Master Paq Derma is quietly spoken and speaks only when comment is essential. Paq Derma's ungainly appearance is deceptive, for she wields the lightsabre with deadly skill despite her advancing years.
Tiny at only fourteen inches in height, Gondor Scock is an Uxaerian, a member of a highly advanced, genetically-engineered super-race native to a remote and desolate planet in the Outer Rim. As with other Uxaerians, Gondor is telepathic and has an unnerving ability to predict what is about to be said.
A Shistovanen Wolfman, Nannab Salokin was trained by Gondor Scock. A test-pilot for the Republic, Nannab finds he can focus most effectiveky upon the Force when at the controls of a starfighter.
This tough Cerean Jedi Master helps Yoda with the training of the Jedi younglings. At the peak of fitness, Bullit Backstar is a strong believer in the use of sport and physical training to get the most out of the children in his charge. Bullit Backstar pushes his students to the extreme, believing that they will emerge as stronger Jedi for his persistance.
A Zabrak Jedi Knight from Iridonia, Lyssa is a master of mind control. At twenty-six years of age, she is the youngest member of the Jedi Council and the only one who is not a Master. Lyssa On'Yanth is yet to take on a Padawan Learner.
Ohga was one of the Jedi Order's greatest swordsmen during his youth, being a master of the elegant and ancient
Form II method of combat. A contemporary of Bil-Kit Jinn, he has often joined him and Sarolyn in lightsabre training tutorials, offering advice and encouragement.
There has always been a Plo Koon on the Council. Descended from a long line of Jedi that bear the same name, Plo Koon is a Kel Dor typical of his predecessors. As with all carbon monoxide-breathing Kel Dor, Plo Koon must wear a special face-mask to protect himself from the oxygen in Coruscant's atmosphere. There is a Kel Dor youngling who has recently joined Nexu Clan: His name is also Plo Koon and he is destined to become a Jedi Master as respected as his elder relative on the Council.
In her early 400s, Yaddle is one of the curatorial Masters of the Jedi Archives. Bil-Kit Jinn helps her by conserving the Museum artifacts in her care.
