Ancient Warriors
The characteristic shocktrooper armour is based on a millennia-old Mandalorian design. A mysterious warlord named Mandalore fought against the Republic during the first Sith War, wearing a face-concealing mask. When the ancient Mandalore died, the mask and title of Mandalore passed to his heir. Eventually, Darth Rakshas took the name of Lord Koraetor Mandalore, and revived the tradition, acquiring planetary armies and police forces, and modelling them intothe Mandalorian style.
Shocktroopers, Guardtroopers and Flight-troopers
There are three branches of the MHG armed forces:
-The Shocktroopers are the Special Police and foot-soldiers assigned to planetary duties. Shocktrooper armour is painted in corporate MHG olive-green with red highlights and displays the insignia of the Mandalore Holdings Group upon the left shoulder. On Sorensia, MHG is phasing out the traditional uniform of the Sorensian Co-operative Constabulary in favour of shocktrooper armour. Regular shocktrooper armour is worn by bounty hunter Boba Fett in his adult years.
-Guardtroopers are assigned to protect Lord Mandalore's residences and palaces. Wearing a silver and blue version of the shocktrooper armour, a unit of them accompany Japhta Fett as she fulfils her missions for Lord Mandalore. Guardtrooper armour is the outfit worn by bounty hunter Jango Fett in Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Shocktrooper officers also wear guardtrooper colours.
-Flight-troopers are the air-and-spaceborne division. An outfit similar to the guard-troopers,they wear a life-support backpack in place of the usual rocket-pack. Flight-troopers, as their name suggests, fly MHG's fleet of Z95 Headhunters and F-Wing starfighters.
